Spinelli Meets Her Match

Once upon a time a beautiful girl named Spinelli was born. As she grew she had nice long hair and was the completion of a coconut. She was slim like a stick and was as strong as Hercules, the son of Zeus. Her father was named Schweppes and her mother died during birth. Her father was a lumberjack. When she grew older Spinelli had to take over to support her and her father. The older Schweppes got the weaker he grew and he was unable to chop wood. As a result of Spinelli taking over the family business, she grew increasingly stronger and stronger until she could cut down a tree with one swift chop. When her father went into town, he would brag about how strong Spinelli was and that she was stronger then all the gods. Zeus, the King of the gods found out and sent his son Hercules to find Spinelli and challenge her to a duel.

The first duel was to chop down 5 trees the quickest. So when they heard the gun go off, which meant begin, they ran as fast as they could to the trees. To start Hercules was in the lead, then Spinelli, then Hercules, then Spinelli finished and won the first duel. Next, Hercules challenged Spinelli to build a house. So when they heard the bell. they grabbed the materials and started building. After only one hour, Hercules had finished building his house while Spinelli was only half done. The two were tied and agreed to a log throw for the last and final duel. Hercules went first and took his log and hurled it to the foot of a nearby mountain. Spinelli went next and hurled hers over the mountain. The duel was done, Spinelli had won! When the two shook hands they looked into each other’s eyes and realized it did not matter who was stronger, they were in love. Hercules and Spinelli got married and had one son. With all the attention the family got. They decided they wanted a home with more privacy. They gathered all the rocks in the forest and began building a huge pile. When the pile reached into the sky, the family climbed up to the top and built their home. They lived there happily for the rest of their lives. Today we know the rock pile as the Rocky Mountains.
